AtomicRaise Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 21, 2026
Last updated: July 21, 2026

AtomicRaise is a peer-to-peer fundraising platform operated by Links and Legacy Consulting LLC(“AtomicRaise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a South Carolina limited liability company located at 301 Gibson Rd, Lexington, SC 29072. AtomicRaise is a product of Links and Legacy Consulting LLC.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It applies to atomicraise.com, to every fundraising page and dashboard we host, and to the text messages we send.

AtomicRaise is offered only in the United States and is intended only for people located in the United States.

If you only want the short version: schools and teams use AtomicRaise to raise money. Students and other participants enter the phone numbers of family and friends who might support them. We text those people a link to donate, and we send a small number of reminders. We do not sell anyone’s information, and anyone can stop the texts at any time by replying STOP.

1. Who’s who

A few terms are used throughout this policy:

  • An Organization is a school, team, club, booster group, or nonprofit that runs a fundraiser on AtomicRaise.
  • A Participant is a member of that Organization — usually a student athlete — who has their own fundraising page.
  • A Contact is a person a Participant adds to their list: a family member, a family friend, a neighbor. Contacts are not AtomicRaise users and do not have accounts.
  • A Donor is anyone who gives money through the platform.
  • Staff are the adults who run things: organization administrators, campaign leaders and co-leaders, and sales representatives.

2. Information we collect

From Participants

When a Participant registers for a campaign, we collect their name and mobile phone number, and their consent to receive text messages from us about that fundraiser. They may optionally provide a photo, an apparel size, a position, and a jersey number for their fundraising page.

From Contacts — and how we got it

This is the part worth reading closely.

Participants provide us with the names and mobile phone numbers of their Contacts, and sometimes a note about how they know them (“Aunt,” “Neighbor,” “Coach”). Contacts do not enter this information themselves. A Participant typed it in.

Before a Participant’s contact list will save, they must confirm the following, and we keep a record of that confirmation:

“I confirm I will only add contacts I know personally and have permission to text about this fundraiser.”

The platform also instructs Participants, in plain language on the same screen, to add only people close to them — family, close family friends, neighbors — and not to add teachers, business numbers, or people they do not personally know.

We rely on that confirmation. It is the basis on which we text a Contact. If you are a Contact and you did not give that permission, we want to hear from you — reply STOP to any message, or email us at the address in Section 12, and we will remove you.

From Donors

When someone donates, we collect their name, email address, mobile phone number, the amount of the donation, any message they choose to leave, and which Participant they are supporting.

We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe, and card details go directly to Stripe. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded and a limited record of the transaction.

A Donor’s phone number is used to recognize them. If a Donor’s number matches a Contact on the Participant’s list, we stop sending that person reminder texts — they already gave. That is the primary reason we ask for it.

From Staff

Organization administrators, campaign leaders, co-leaders, and sales representatives provide a name, email address, phone number, and sometimes a title or role.

Automatically

Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you use AtomicRaise: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to keep the service running and secure, and to understand how it is used.

3. Mobile information and text messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not share, trade, sell, or rent phone numbers.

What texts we send, and to whom

To Participants: if they consented at registration, we may text them about their own fundraiser — reminders to add contacts, notifications when someone donates, and campaign updates.

To Contacts:we send a link to the Participant’s fundraising page and up to five automated reminder messages per campaign. Every automated message identifies the Participant by name and the cause, so a recipient knows immediately who gave us their number and why they are hearing from us. Message frequency may vary.

Message and data rates may apply.

Stopping the texts

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing after that.

An opt-out is permanent and platform-wide. Once you reply STOP, that phone number will not receive automated messages from AtomicRaise again — not from that Participant, not from a different Participant, not in a future campaign, not for a different Organization. We keep the number on a suppression list for exactly this purpose, and for no other purpose.

Reply HELP to any message, or contact us using Section 12, for assistance.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. T-Mobile is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Run fundraising campaigns and show Participants’ pages to potential Donors
  • Send the text messages described in Section 3
  • Process donations and get money to the Organization
  • Show Organizations how their campaign is doing
  • Recognize returning Participants and Donors across seasons
  • Keep the platform secure, prevent abuse, and comply with the law

We do not use anyone’s information to advertise to them, and we do not use it to advertise anything other than the fundraiser they are connected to.

5. Who we share information with

Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to operate the platform. They may process information on our behalf, and only on our behalf:

  • Supabase — database and file storage
  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Twilio — text message delivery

The Organization

A fundraiser is run by real people at the school or club. Campaign leaders and organization administrators can see how each Participant is doing — how many contacts they’ve added, how many have been texted, how much they’ve raised — and can see contact-level detail for the Participants on their roster. This is the same visibility a coach has always had into a team fundraiser, and it exists so they can help a Participant who is falling behind.

Staff cannot send their own messages to Contacts. Message templates are set by AtomicRaise and cannot be edited by anyone at the Organization. Staff cannot send anything to a number that has opted out — that is enforced by the platform, not left to discretion.

Everyone else

We may disclose information if we are legally required to, if we need to protect the safety of a person, or if we need to enforce our Terms. If AtomicRaise is ever sold or merged, information may transfer to the acquiring company, and this policy will follow it.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not share phone numbers with anyone outside the vendors listed above.

6. How long we keep information

  • Participant informationis kept while the Participant’s account is active, so they don’t have to start over each season.
  • Contact informationis kept while the Participant who added it has an active account. A Participant’s contact list carries across campaigns on purpose — so a student doesn’t have to re-enter Grandma’s number every year. Contacts can ask to be deleted at any time; see Section 7.
  • Donation records are kept as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
  • Opt-out records are kept indefinitely. This is deliberate. The only way to guarantee a number never gets texted again is to remember it.

7. Your choices and rights

If you are a Contact and you never asked to hear from us, you have two ways out, and both work:

  1. Reply STOP to any message. It is immediate and permanent.
  2. Email us at support@atomicraise.com and ask us to delete your information. We will remove your number and your name from the platform.

You do not need an account to do either, and you do not have to explain why.

If you are a Participant, Donor, or Staff member, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information using the contact details in Section 12.

Some requests have limits — we may need to keep donation records for tax purposes, and we will always keep an opted-out number on the suppression list, because deleting it would mean texting you again.

8. Children’s privacy

AtomicRaise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Participants represent, when they accept our Terms of Service, that they are at least 13 years old, or that a parent or guardian is assisting them.

Many Participants are minors between 13 and 17. For those Participants:

  • We collect only what the fundraiser requires — name, phone number, and optionally a photo and a few team details.
  • Their fundraising page is public, and their name and photo appear on it. A Participant may run a campaign without a photo.
  • A parent or guardian may enter contacts and complete the fundraiser on the Participant’s behalf, and we encourage it. A parent or guardian may also contact us at any time to review, correct, or delete their child’s information, or to withdraw them from a campaign.

Organizations are responsible for informing the parents and guardians of participating minors that a fundraiser is running on AtomicRaise and that it involves text messaging. This is a requirement of our Terms of Service.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us at support@atomicraise.com.

9. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request:

  • Access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
  • Deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions
  • Correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Information about how we have disclosed personal information for business purposes

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide the choices California law requires.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@atomicraise.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

California residents under 18 may request removal of content or information they have publicly posted, subject to the limits of the law.

10. Security

We protect information with commercially reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. Payment card data never touches our servers.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach occurs that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

11. Other things worth knowing

Do Not Track. Our service does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Third-party links. Our pages may link to other sites — an Organization’s website, a payment page. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will post the updated version with a new date, and where we reasonably can, notify affected users. Continuing to use AtomicRaise after a change means you accept it.
